The Biltmore is undeniably iconic, and walking through its historic lobby brought back memories of when I first hoped to stay there. For our family trip, we were excited to finally book a couple of nights, and the grandeur of the common areas truly lived up to its reputation. The view from our room was beautiful, and the staff we interacted with were kind and welcoming. However, the actual room experience fell short of expectations. The accommodations felt noticeably dated, and several amenities I expected at this price point were missing. The bathroom, in particular, was disappointing—the toilet resembled the style commonly found in public restrooms, and the lack of ventilation made showering uncomfortable due to excessive humidity. We found ourselves keeping the bathroom door open just to maintain comfort. While the hotel remains an impressive venue for events or a visit to its historic spaces, I was ultimately glad our stay was only two nights. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not quite match the price or the anticipation I had for this iconic property.

Update: Frank was kind of enough to reach out to me and address my concerns. I do appreciate his effort to make things right. It matters when your feedback is taken into consideration. My expectations for a hotel of this prestige is much higher. Not only was my room double booked and we were shuffled into a smaller room with a king bed and a COT, but I had to repeatedly beg staff to meet my needs while staying here. It’s unfortunate that an establishment of such renown is run so inefficiently. I’ve been treated better at a Hilton.

The Biltmore Hotel is stunning. It gives "Richness" as soon as you walk in. The entire staff are very professional and respectful. They are attentive to your needs. I stayed one night and it's perfect. Parking prices are expensive. However, if you don't mind walking, there are parking garages that are within walking distance from half of the price for overnight parking. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. This place is very picturesque if you want to capture beautiful memories with your loved ones.

The Biltmore Hotel is quite the experience. Before even getting to your room, you step into history and experience the glamour of Old Hollywood. The architecture and design elements are out of this world. To the level of making you ask yourself, "Just how many hours of effort were put into making this amazing building?". The staff is top notch and I'd love to give a shout out to Brent and Emanuel at the bell desk. Friendly and knowledgeable, exactly what you want as you arrive. The rooms are a bit dated, but then again, so is the building. I don't expect or want modern from a hotel that has hosted Walt Disney and Bette Davis. The halls are lined with photos of memories long ago and you can spend hours looking at all the details. Which is made easy by scanning QR Codes around the hotel that offer a virtual walking tour. I'm sure the bar and restaurant were top notch but we didn't have a chance to check them out with such a short stay. If you can afford it, I absolutely recommend giving it a try for your next staycation should you be local and for those from out of town wanting a true taste of Los Angeles, this is the place.

I want to start with the service, because I honestly can’t remember the last time I experienced service as exceptional as what Jose provided. He truly guided us through the hotel, sharing its history and explaining the value and significance of the property. He was extremely helpful, kind, and informative. If I could give a ten stars to Jose, I absolutely would. Thank you again, Jose, for your beautiful service. It really made our experience special. The hotel itself is stunning. You can feel its history the moment you walk in. Being more than a hundred years old, it carries so much character and beauty. Knowing that so many movies and stars have been part of its story only adds to its charm. It’s simply exceptional. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Los Angeles, which makes everything very convenient. They also provide parking and valet service, which makes a big difference when staying downtown. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Even the small details, like the quality of the shampoo and soap, show that they care. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This historic hotel is beautiful and full of interesting things to see and do. Upon checking in, we were provided complimentary access to the club level in celebration of my wife's birthday. The hotel is living history! Appreciate Christine Co for following up on our billing issues and providing a speedy remedy.

We had a great time at the Biltmore. Its central location in Los Angeles is very convenient, especially if you want to reach multiple Metro lines on foot and walk to many great nearby destinations. We loved the style of the hotel, it’s a truly historic building with a lot of character. From start to finish the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only small points of criticism would be that the room service could be improved and the pool temperature could be a bit warmer. The rooms themselves feel slightly dated but they still have plenty of charm. Overall we would definitely recommend the Biltmore and would happily stay there again when we return to LA.

I chose to stay at the Biltmore in downtown Los Angeles because several movies I love were filmed here. It’s one of the oldest hotels in the city, but truly one of the most beautiful. The historic frescoes and details inside are stunning, and the entire building has an incredible charm. My room was large and spacious, and the staff were all very kind and helpful. I was genuinely impressed by many aspects of my stay. Prices are definitely higher than average, but the atmosphere and the location make it worth it. The only inconvenience was the extremely long line at check-in, but the staff handled everything politely. They even allowed me to stay an extra hour after check-out and helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely return if I come back to Los Angeles.
